The Rolling Wave

In this episode of RTÉ Radio 1's weekly traditional music programme The Rolling Wave, Aoife Nic Cormaic is at the Willie Clancy Summer School speaking to two legendary harmonica players, Mick Kinsella and Rick Epping. Both musicians come from very different backgrounds- Mick started off as a drummer and Rick fell in love with folk music in the 1960s in California. In the show they talk about their own stories, harmonicas, concertinas, an trumpa as well as magical nights in Donegal with John Doherty and watching the first man walk on the moon from a lock-in in Co. Sligo!
