Oileánach - Oileán Fhínse
Abandoned islands are scattered all over Conamara, islands that were once full of life and laughter but are now abandoned. In this series, Treasa Bhreathnach visits these islands with relations of those that lived on them and chats to others who reminisce about their lives on the island. In this programme, the musician Marcus Ó hIarnáin and his wife Mary Simon bring Treasa on a tour of the island and speak about their future plans. These programmes are a record of island life and give us a snapshot in time of their value to the islanders and their descendants.
