Beth yw Pwynt yr Eisteddfod?
Israel Lai, a musician and linguist from Hong Kong, has mastered the Welsh language entirely on his own. But even though he speaks it fluently, he still feels like an outsider within a culture so deeply rooted, so uniquely Welsh. On his first ever journey to the National Eisteddfod, he sets out to answer a question that resonates with many language learners: is speaking the language enough to truly belong? As he wanders through the Maes, Israel discovers that the Eisteddfod is more than just a festival - it’s family, history, and identity.
