Baradoz: Tale of Celtic Symphony

Baradoz: tale of symphony follows Didier Squiban, a Breton pianist and composer, as he records a work inspired by the Iroise Sea and the Ponant islands. The film combines piano improvisations, rehearsals with musicians and on-site sound recordings, all set to the rhythm of the tides. Step by step, we journey through memories, testimonies and the work of sound craftsmen until the final recording. Between intimacy and collective inspiration, Baradoz recounts a deeply rooted creation, the art of storytelling, musical rigour and the joy of passing on knowledge. A poetic journey where technical excellence conveys a profoundly Breton emotion.
